U14 Ottawa Sting take Silver in Lake Placid
Ottawa Sting U14 advances to gold medal game in Lake Placid
The U14B Ottawa Sting team had an incredible run at the Lake Placid Tournament from October 31 to November 3, finishing with a well-earned second-place finish. The team dominated their Vancouver 14U division, winning three games and earning a shot at gold on the iconic 1980 Olympic rink. In what could only be described as a thrilling, Miracle-esque battle, the Sting led most of the game against the Boston Ice Dogs. With the score tied, the game headed into overtime, where the teams played intense three-on-three action. Despite their relentless effort, the Sting fell just short, securing a silver medal in an unforgettable final. A huge congratulations to the team for their hard work and perseverance—what an achievement!
